1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing foxtemp.com ("this site") or using any of its features, you confirm you've read and agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you disagree with any part of them, please stop using this site.
2. What the service provides
This site offers two services:
- Temp inbox: open the page and get a disposable email address instantly, with live mail delivery; the address is valid for 3 hours by default, refillable, capped at a 24-hour total lifetime from creation, and both address and mail self-destruct on expiry. The temp inbox never keeps attachments; a whole message over 100MB is rejected server-side.
- Forwarding aliases: after signing in with a real email via a verification code, you can create up to 100 alias addresses; mail sent to an alias auto-forwards to your real inbox and stays in a 30-day online archive. Attachments are tiered by total message size: ≤50MB forwards and archives with the attachment; 50–100MB forwards but the archive drops the attachment; >100MB is rejected.
3. Free and receive-only
Every feature on this site is free, with no paid tier and no "premium" version. Both services are strictly receive-only: you cannot send, reply to, or forward mail through this site. That restriction is a deliberate design choice meant to prevent the service from being used to send spam in the first place.
4. Account and sign-in
- Forwarding sign-in is passwordless: enter your real email and verify with a 6-digit code; a new email is auto-registered on first verification. Resending a code has a 60-second cooldown, and frequent requests are rate-limited.
- Sessions stay signed in for 7 days before requiring re-verification; you can sign out anytime.
- You may optionally enable two-factor authentication (TOTP). Keep your authenticator and secret safe once enabled — losing them may lock you out.
- You must ensure the real email you register controls belongs to you; creating forwarding to someone else's inbox without consent is abuse.
5. Acceptable use policy
You may use this site for any lawful privacy purpose: sign-up verification, subscription isolation, testing mail delivery, and similar. The following are explicitly prohibited:
Using this site for any illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, malware distribution, or infringing on others' rights;
Evading a third-party platform's bans, mass-registering accounts to farm incentives, or otherwise violating a third-party service's own rules;
Scraping this site abusively, stress-testing it, attempting reverse-engineering intrusion, or programmatically creating inboxes/aliases at high frequency;
Using this site to receive content that, by law or agreement, must not go through an anonymous or forwarding inbox (such as certain financial or government notices).
We reserve the right to rate-limit or ban inboxes, aliases, or accounts involved in abuse, and to cooperate with competent authorities in serious cases.
6. Data destruction is irreversible
Automatic destruction is a core feature of this service, not a defect: once a temp inbox expires (or you switch addresses), its mail is deleted permanently and immediately, and no one — including us — can recover it; the forwarding archive deletes automatically after 30 days. Please save anything you need within these windows; we are not responsible for losses caused by failing to save data in time.
7. Service provided "as is"
This site is provided free of charge on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with no guarantee of: uninterrupted or error-free service; that every message will be delivered (delivery depends on the sender, the network, and spam filtering, none of which we fully control); or that any given third-party platform will accept our domain. For a false-positive block, you can self-correct with "mark as not spam" in the archive; for a failed forward, use "retry forwarding."
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use this service (including data loss, business interruption, or missed notifications); this service is free, so there is no fee paid that a damages calculation could be based on. Where applicable law doesn't allow these limitations, the minimum limitation permitted by law applies instead.
9. Changes and termination of service
We may adjust features, limits, or the interface; significant changes will update these terms and be flagged on the site. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate part or all of the service in cases of abuse, legal requirement, or force majeure. You may stop using this site at any time; signed-in users can email to request account closure (see privacy policy §9).
10. Changes to these terms
When these terms are updated, the "last updated" date at the top is revised accordingly; material changes will be prominently flagged on the site. Continuing to use this site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
